On the 24th of April, kind-hearted individuals will be grabbing their sleeping bags and bedding down for a night at the Reading Abbey Ruins to raise funds for those facing a housing crisis in Reading. This will be a great opportunity to meet others who live and work in Reading, and for you to experience, just briefly, what it feels like to have no roof over your head. During the event you'll hear from lived experience volunteers; they'll tell us their story and how they came to find themselves homeless and needing support from local housing charity, Launchpad.
Sign up is free, but we do ask that you do your best to fundraise to allow us to continue helping vulnerable people across our town.
Are you the kind of person who can experience a night of discomfort to ensure that others don't have to sleep on the streets night after night?
