Sport in Mind are the UK’s leading mental health sports charity and delivers physical activity (sport, walking, dance and movement, gardening and exercise sessions) projects in partnership with the NHS in order to aid recovery, promote mental wellbeing, improve physical health, combat social isolation and empower people to move their lives forward in a positive direction. All our projects are:

- Free
- The sessions are open to anyone over 17 experiencing mental health problems, they are drop-in sessions so no need to book and there is no referral required.
- Open to carers regardless of if they have a mental health problem
- Highley accessible being located to public transport; having all equipment provided etc
- Open to any ability and no requirement to have previous experience
- Run by local qualified instructors
- Run every week in the same place at the same time
- Focus on fun over competition
